Hard to believe that a place could notch-up dim sum any better. Each bite was a delicious one...I have eaten dim sum around the world in every Chinatown from London to Los Angeles and then some...truly a wonderful treat. But go slow...don't be hurried by the hurry-up busy place...savor!

“Simple and delicious”
Reviewed May 21, 2013

Love their simple and yet delicious dumplings. Already a fan from their Sydney shop visited two different locations in Shanghai. Consistently fresh (you can watch them making them) and delicious, team them with some delicious jasmine tea and what more could you wish for?
Very nice bathrooms too.

“Excellent selection, good food and clean kitchen & rest room”
Reviewed May 18, 2013

A couple of Chinese-American friends suggested we have dinner here as they knew it is clean and well maintained, especially the kitchen. Kitchen staff wear hats on their heads and the area appeared clean and well organized, the servers wearing uniforms and the customer eating area spotless. Even the bathroom was clean (often a good indicator). I rated the value as average as it seemed more expensive than other places we went to during our four day stay. Given that we ate there on May 1st when it seemed half of China came to Shanghai for the three day holiday, the place wasn't as busy as we expected it to be. Maybe because it's located on the third floor of the Super Mall out of the main stream of shoppers that allowed us to be seated upon arrival.
Our friends did the ordering from the two sided menu which had pictures of the available items. We appreciated our friends ordering as it would have taken us quite a while to read the entire menu before placing an order. The wait staff was quick to respond to questions, took our order and disappeared. Our order (14 items) arrived a few plates at a time which worked out well as the food didn't get cold. The six of us enjoyed our meal, the beer and the conversation, not being hurried by staff to leave. Our bill came to 650 RMB or about $105usd, which I guess was reasonable having had 14 items served to us.
Would we return should we come to Shanghai again? Yes.

“Good value”

The food is good and the prices are more than acceptable by comparison to the other restaurants in xintiandin. Still, I can't understand how they have managed to get one star with Michelin

“Din Ti miss the Dim Sum!”
Reviewed April 24, 2013

Clean, organized and tasty! Great experience with traditional Chinese food in Shanghai! A little pricier than expected for the nature of the restaurant (casual dining). Worth it though due to cleanliness and freshness of the food! A must do if you want a traditional meal in a clean environment!
