“Inspiring”

There are many temples throughout the city but I am glad we toured this one as the jade Buddha is an amazing and beautiful piece! I also enjoyed drinking and learning about the various medicinal teas in the tea room.

“Spectacular!”
Reviewed July 16, 2012

It is possible to take pictures in the temple, with the only exception being the Buddha statue itself. Separate fee applies to enter the room, where the statue is situated. But definitely worth every penny!
The statue depicts Sakyamuni Buddha in the earth-touching position and as the name indicates it is made of jade stone.

There's also a tea-house in the temple, where You can taste (definitely recommended) and purchase different kinds of tea.

“Lots to see.”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

We enjoyed seeing all the Buddhas, including the reclining Jade Buddha. The temple was packed with people, both tourists, worshipers and monks. It was very noisy, with so much going on in the courtyards. The inner courtyard was much quieter.

“Interesting enough”
Reviewed June 13, 2012

The Jade Buddha Temple was in itself interesting with the worship square with the fire cauldron and the surrounding gardens and water features within the temple grounds also impressive.
