“Tastes great”

I came here for a small dinner - small but clean place with friendly staff.
The pasta tasted very good.
Not a breakfast place as it isn't open early in the morning.

“Amazing, what a treat!!”
Reviewed December 28, 2013 via mobile

Amazing, delicious healthy food. Large menu, fantastic juices (try the detox one) fast, fresh ans friendly. Can highly recommend the lentil burger and red bell pepper wrap. Next time we're in shanghai we're definitely staying closeby so we can enjoy this place more often! Free wifi too :)

“healthy vegetarian option”
Reviewed October 1, 2013

When I come to Shanghai I always come for a meal at Kush (Kerry Parkside Mall). Nothing to write home about but a great option if you are suffering with food in China (well, I do). I like their soba noodles and maca powder drink. It's a bit pricey but most of the dining options around are pricey anyway.

Dear Ana Karina,

Thanks for visiting Kush. I appreciate we are on the list of places to eat when you visit Shanghai. It seems like your meals are good but for whatever reason you aren't "wowed" by them. Our new fall dishes on our upcoming Autumn/Winter menu will hopefully create a few opportunities where you would (write home). We are doing some interesting things with the new menu including a "dip bar" so please visit us again in the near future. Again, thank you for your continued business!

“It will make a vegetarian out of you!”
Reviewed September 7, 2013

Ok, maybe not, but their food has to be tried by even the sceptic. I personally love their KUSH salad with the falafel type paty on top. It is the same pat they use in one of their burgers. It is a little spicy and I don't like spice but it is good. Their cheesecake doesn't taste like a real one but more like apple and is real good. Their ecstasy balls are so rich and wonderful!
The atmosphere in the place is typical of a mall restaurant I guess. It is open to the mall so a little loud and tables are vey tight together so don't expect a private conversation. Great place to eat, deliver through Sherpas or order their KUSH burgers through Fieldschina.com

Jill- thank you for your review. While I also don't know if we have made any meat eaters turn "Veg", we have sparked many people to make healthier choices around the foods they eat. As for the falafel patties topping some of salads, they are delicious. Glad you like them.

You are right about the space, it can get buzzing so if you were looking for more private, you can make reservations for the more private side booths at Kerry Parkside, depending on the day/time you come. Sorry we fell short there!

On the desserts, please come back and try our new ones coming this October... Raw Tiramisu, Raspberry pie and a few others.... Along with over 15 other new dishes. Again, thanks for taking the time to review us.

“Small and different”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

This restaurant has only 4 tables - so you better book before heading down. The menu, the wooden cutlery, the infamous chocolate balls for dessert ... it was all good. The small stack of eclectic books in the corner gives you something to browse while you wait - not that the wait was long. Tables are close-by, but comfortable. Menu is wide enough for a good veggie meal - with enough to keep the kids satisfied as well.
