Our group found this restaurant by accident when in Shanghai, but it's a true gem. It's a small restaurant with utilitarian decor, but the food was great! When we walked in, the owner greeted us in English and told us he grew up in New York (he sounded a little like John Wayne). The menus were in English as well as Chinese, but we stuck to his suggestions for our meal. All the dishes were excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. It was one of our best Chinese dinners in 10 days, and I highly recommend this restaurant.
The outside sign just says "My Kitchen".
