Nearly impossible to fine, but a modest fee (20rmb) for a modest little museum in the basement of an apartment block - explanations alongside most of the posters explaining the era and some of the reasoning behind the propaganda posters with English translations for most.

A snapshot into China's past not normally found in most museums.

This centre was very interesting and surprisingly entertaining, I had expected serious propaganda material, which were present, but a lot of the posters were actually very charming and humorous and reflected certain un-expected aspects of mainland China over the last century. The posters are very thoughtfully arranged and translated (I can read Chinese and English, and a bit of French), and aside from propaganda posters, there were also old adverts, comic drawings/magazines and calendar girl posters that were really interesting.

A reviewer on July 17th has written very detailed directions. We did however take a taxi in the end. A guard at the gate gives you a map and it is easy to find. We all loved this small museum. It was fascinating and so interesting.

A real look at the recent past with excellent examples of the posters. The English explanations are clear and helpful. The exhibit sprawls through a few rooms and you need a good hour to totally enjoy the immersion into a bygone era.

this place is located within a residential block of homes, within the basement. You can visit this and be done within an hour, and it would be helpful if you just brushed up on The Cultural Revolution and WWII China for a short bit so that you can maximize your enjoyment of this place. Although there is no pressure in buying some of the reproductions, I found the pricing to be quite steep.

Taxi was no problem leaving the place either. 5-10 min max
