The splendor of the 2010 expo will not last much longer, but for now there is still plenty you can go see here. Worth a visit for the beautiful walk by Huangpu river and to see some of the buildings still up.

Arrived on a day then the place apparently was closed. But i read that it had been turned into a museum and im not the biggest museum fanatic.

We went to the area to find a particular destination and wandered throughout the expo area. You'd think it happened in 1910, not 2010... The buildings are mostly completely abandoned, including restaurants, metro stations, exhibition halls, and so on. Everything is fenced off or under construction, and it's all rusted and falling apart. Other than the new China art museum, there is next to nothing in this area today.

This palce is really huge. I went there as an visitor to an exhibition. It had various exhibits from many countries. Place it self is quite quite huge and you could be walking a lot. But I dont see anybody would want to see this if there is no exhibition going on. Otherwise very jice place

The place is just packed with people. You would have to wait hours to get in. Plus there is not much stuff there anymore, people moved some of the excellent stuff away.
