This being the current craze as it opened it's first outlet in Singapore's Jewel recently, caused me and my colleagues to venture out in the pouring rain to hunt down this outlet in Shanghai, in hopes that it'll be less crowded (3 hours queue in Singapore). Haha, we were so wrong! Despite the heavy pouring rain, it was flooded with locals and tourists. Queue for tables everywhere, unlike Sg where there was a proper queuing system, the inside of the 'shack' was packed with people hiding from the rain as well as waiting for a table.
To be fair, the staffs were scrambling around and trying their best to organize the people, trying to serve incoming guests with bags for umbrellas, one can only imagine the chaotic environment. We managed to snag a table after about 30 mins (thank god it's fast food). We ordered, food came, and it was really really good! The portobello mushroom was so juicy, yum yum, and the bacon simply mmmmmmm! The shake only available in China though, tasted like medicine and not to our liking. Our group consists of 2 Asians and 2 Europeans so maybe our tastebuds weren't suited to local taste for that drink. Vanilla, chocolate shake was ultimately the best!
Would we come back again? I think the answer is YES! Only if it is not raining and hopefully we can get a nice picture. Oh we were completely drenched the moment we stepped out although the staff tried to help in providing raincoats and even helped us button up. Thumbs up to great service!
