Lots of little shops selling scarves, trinkets, bars, eateries, some are overpriced, but the area is charming.

The name of this place is the homonym of an ancient artist. Thus there are a number of small shops that present some very particular art pieces, and many are quite good for purchase as souvenirs . There are also a number of very characteristic coffee shops and small restaurants. The alleys are quite clean and sometimes like a maze. It's neat place worth the visit in Shanghai even during a short stay.

fun place to go and look around, Lots of trendy shops, bars, restaurants in a well restaured or smartly refited old quartier. A tourist place, also attract some locals. Nice place to take your visitor there for a lazy afternoon, walking around, chatting in a coffee, shopping for 'useless' souvenirs...

Brilliant for last souvenir shopping also good for some real Chinese street food and relaxing time away from the city, very quite consider it is down town.

well - that's our name for it since we're not experts in Mandarin. It's a very fun little jumble of shops, some junky, some quirky with fun finds and some with actually beautiful things. It gets VERY crowded but it's worth a tumble through. Also be sure to check out the stores on the edges outside the central shopping alleys.
