We read a few mediocre reviews before deciding to try this restaurant anyway and we were pleasantly surprised. We'd been in Shanghai for 5 weeks and were craving Indian food. The restaurant is located on the 3rd fl of a bldg. It took us a bit to find it. When we got there, fairly early, the place was empty. By the time we left it was full. We ordered samosa, tandoori chicken, dal, palak paneer and a fragrant rice. Everything was very good and flavorful. The service was great and expedient.. The samosa were tasty and well spiced. The tandoori was sizzling hot. The dal was very good. The palak was not the best we've had but I wouldn't expect it to be in China. It was still good although it could have used a little more spicing. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone who is seeking good Indian fare in Shanghai. We will definitely go again.
