“Tasty, tasteful, delicious, excellent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 12, 2014

There's not much to add from the headline... I have eaten here on two visits: in October 2010 and in April 2014, and both visits were really, really good.
In 2010 we were treated to a 17 course tasting menu of everything the Sichuan cuisine can offer, and our tastebuds were treated the best way in a long time. In 2014 we had less hot or burning courses, but what the food lacked in numbing it surely had in taste. I can only recommend this excellent restaurant!

“Best Sichuan in town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 15, 2013

I will start by saying that I love Sichuan Food. I have been to most of the Sichuan restaurants in Shanghai and enjoyed them. However this restaurant stands above the others. To start the service was great. Server was very helpful in explaining the differences between certain dishes. The menu was extensive and we tried many of the dishes. My favorites were the Beef & Tripe and the Boiled Beef, although I truly enjoyed them all. Accompanied by a cold beer (or three) and this was a memorable meal. I will be back again and again.

“If you love Szechuan, head here!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2013

Set on the top floor of Plaza 66, Shanghai's top designer flagship mall, this Szechuan restaurant lived up to the hype. The menu options, service and presentation we all top notch. My beef and shrimp dishes were fiery hot and delectable. The hot and sour soup though, was run of the mill. This place is well worth it if you love Szechuan food.
