We stayed at this aiport hotel when we arrived and just before we left Shanghai Pudong Airport. It is very close to the airport with a free continuous shuttle running between the airport and hotel. The rooms were comfortable, but my only gripe would be that the beds were a little firm. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others as well. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and both meals were very good, with a lot of food choices. The front desk and concierge were very friendly and helpful on each stay, and they even upgraded us to a suite room when we stayed there before we left the next morning to come home. One important note for the ladies, the hairdryer there was the kind that is mounted on the wall and looks like vacuum cleaner. It doesn't blow hard enough or have enough heat to properly style hair.

I stayed in this hotel for the same reasons, I would suspect as many other travelers to Shanghai - to fly out of Pudong airport the next day. The room was small, there were stains on the carpet, stray hairs on the sheets, and the woman working the check-out desk had zero customer service skills. I did, however, make it to my flight perfectly on time the next day. Overall, a dump with lousy service not proficient in English.

We arrived early in the morning and found easily the shuttle service to hotel(5minutes) which was free. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to acquire our room early after short wait.We received marvellous help booking a trip into Shanghai with an english speaking guide and our own taxichaufför, very reasonable price. We visited the bund a famous waterfront a symbol of Shanghai. The buildings are magnificent. The bund was still under construction at the time but will soon be finished in time for world expo.We visited the Yu garden a fantastic place. The guided tour took about 4 hours with a shopping round in the old city. The worlds first commercial magnetic train is next to the hotel."The Shanghai Maglev. Our guides name was Julie she was very informative [--]. After our trip we had a lovely meal in the hotels restuarant.

We stayed here one night because our flight was leaving early in the morning.
There is nothing to complain. But also nothing special.
The hotel doesn't look like a Ramada, must have been some chinese hotel before.
The rooms are spacious and you do not here anything from outside (and it is VERY close to the airport).
It must be a litle bit older, but it is clean.
We ate at the restaurant, it was ok.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing for a Ramada Hotel. Not much choice and not high quality.
The staff was very friendly and our room was ready (with baby bed, as requested) when we arrived. The check out was quick even if there were many people rushing to the airport.
If you are driving yourself, make sure you know how to get to the airport! There are no signs and it is quite tricky!
I suggest the hotel for an overnight stay, as it is only five minutes from the airport, but not if you want to go to the city center.

The airport hotel is fine for a one night stay either for flying out of China or flying in late. More than one night would severely test my patience.
Shuttle bus from the airport is easy to find: driver was surly and looked unhappy that there was a customer to be taken to the hotel. Leaving from the hotel to the airport was a better experience.
The internet in the rooms is not free - you have to pay by the minute, which given modems disappeared around 10 years ago seems a little unreasonable, and the rate wasn't cheap. Given the cost of the room (about 80 euros per night), I expected a little more generosity. The bath hadn't been cleaned properly either, so I skipped the bath.
The food in the restaurant is uniformly awful, I have eaten there three times now - the pizza is the least worst. A pizza and a can of sprite cost me about 10 euros.
The staff have very limited English. Any deviation from the hotel English they have been taught throws them. Typical things such as time of shuttle bus and directions to rooms are fine however.
All in all, a reasonable stay for a business traveler, but could be much better if they put some effort in.
