Would I ever rave about the food at Big Bamboo? Absolutely not. It is average at best and worse than that more often. However, as a sports bar or just to hang out, this place is perfect. Huge drink selection, distractions for the kids (+ french fries), and a big welcoming space. Don't go here expecting a "just like home" version of burgers and fries. Do go here with some friends to catch up on sports while chatting over a cold beer.

Best sports bar that I have been too - well patronised by foreigners. Prices are hideous but the beer is good! Ordered the top of the range Australian prime steak which it was not and could not cut it with the cutlery provided. £30 for a couple of beers and an inedible steak - no sympathy when I complaine. Will not be back.

We watched the F1 Grand Prix on big screen in he bar area on one of the days we visited. Drinks are good value on Happy Hour but expensive there after. The food looked and smelt good, we just visited in happy hours before returning to hotel around the corner. We have got used to no smoking in bars, so it did get a bit smokey at times. You can be served where you sit or stand by young Chinese girls in short skirts. Big Bamboo was always busy with a good atmosphere. They even sell T shirts and caps.

Went there, it is close to my office actually, it is just a normal sports-bar and many foreigners are at there, which means: pricing is also higher than usual and nothing special. I would go to Windows and get pretty much the same environment / waiters.
