Average German food. High prices. Dinners are typically 125-200 RMB. Beers were $78 per .5l my meal and beer was very average and cost 230 RMB. I will not be going back.

Went here on the recommendation of a Chinese collegue. Stay away unless you want to pay alot for half cooked and terrible German food and over priced beer. Total bill for 5 people with drinks of course, was over $200 US. Three of us got the sausage platter and one got the pork knuckle. Sausages were under cooked with instant mashed potatoes. Oh yea, while there saw two employees get into a fist fight over something. Will not be back here regardless of the beer....

Having tasted real German food in Germany, both the quality of the food and the service were just average. Considering the popularity of the restaurant and the location right on the river, I was disappointed. Simpler dishes such as the wurst and potato were however excellent.

Place was full inside and out, lots of choice of beer, average selection of food. The only place in Shanghai that asks you to pay after every item ordered!

It was impossible to talk already before the music started. Food was average. Schnitzel was ok - the french fries soft. Beer was excellent. We tried to eat as fast as possible to go to a place with better view ( we had window table but could hardly see the river) and a possibility to talk.
