We were on the afternoon Shanghai foodie tour with Swan and Maggie and had a wonderful time. First the food- we made four stops during our walking tour and sampled many local foods including: taro bun, scallion oil noodles, soup dumplings, wonton soup, potstickers, sweet egg cakes, fried sticky rice cakes, tofu pudding, salty soy milk, sweet and sour pork, shredded chicken, and stir-fried beans. There is a lot of food to try and you would likely not be able to find these restaurants and food on your own easily.
Our young guides were delightful, pointing out some highlights on our walk and sharing details on the foods and a bit on their lives. Highly recommended!

We visited three restaurants and they were all good. Jim, was our guide and was very informative and friendly. He answered all our questions and seemed to enjoy his job.

Interesting, tasty fun afternoon taking in the 'real China'.

Being a vegetarian was not a problem. The dishes served up to me were delicious and varied.

The tour guide Jim happily answered all of my questions and was an asset to have as we walked around the French district which was beautiful.

I highly recommend this lovely tour. Tip!! Make sure you have an appetite!

Such a great experience while staying in Shanghai. Managed to book last minute with no hassle. Tour leader Jim was amazing, full of information about this beautiful city and knew exactly where all the good food is. Recommend doing the tour with an empty stomach as theres so much food, you just want to keep eating as its so delicious. Even went back to one of the restaurants the next night. If i'm ever in Shanghai, i would definitely do this tour again!!
