“Brilliant Day”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

Could not of had more fun. Was pretty aprehensive when we first turned and the they went through the safety talk, as we had to children with us - 9 and 10 I was thinking that it might of been to much for them to take on. I WAS WRONG, they had so much fun, the rapids were enough for them to handle, our guide Peter was the nicest man, the views through the valley and the waterfall experience was awesome, ( and the water and cordial fight at the end was pretty cool as well). Yes it was a long day but so worth it. Something different that you do not do everyday. Highly reommend it.

“Well worth the early pick-up time!”
Reviewed September 8, 2013

As we were based at Denarau Island the pick-up time for this was a miserable 6.30am, however by lunchtime I'd well and truly forgotten the early morning griping.

The guides, particularly Moses, were brilliant and very entertaining and informative.

The rafting itself was so picturesque we actually bought the DVD at the end so that we could remember it.

The rapids were by no means difficult and I don't know what the rating was but when we were there the water levels were low so it wasn't flowing very quickly.

Lunch was the normal make-your-own-sandwich fare (with a Fijian twist) and it hit the spot just fine.

Highly recommended, just be prepared for a pretty intense uphill / downhill 20 minute hike to the boats, and an adventurous 4WD bus trip up the mountain (we got bogged and it was highly entertaining getting towed back out).

“Marius S. New Zealand.”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

Absolutely fantastic. The river guides are great, very informative and kept us informed about local culture, plants and trees. Had a nice lunch half way through and cooled off in the waterfalls. Definitel value for money.

“Beautiful scenery and great people”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

My husband and I had an absolute blast rafting in Fiji. Although the rapids are nothing to write home about, the amazing scenery and wonderful guides make the trip worth while. Be ready for a long day including lots of time in a bumpy bus over dirt roads. The time on the water surrounded by rain forests, canyons, and waterfalls makes the trip worth both your money and time. One of the guides rides in a kayak and takes pictures of you rafting (well worth the money for the precious memories). We couldn't have asked for a better guide in Moses (a 14 year veteran of the river).

“longgggggg longgggggggggg amazing day!”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

Repeat after me..
"I WENT WATER RAFTING IN FIJI"
That alone plus the pictures should convince you to do this tour..

Now the caveats:

- its about 3+ hours from Denaru in a bus. Going there at 5.30 am was kinda ok because of the excitement and energy levels, but sitting in a bus for 3+ hours after about 5 hours of paddling was soooooooooo tiring !!.. if your coming from Pacific habour, Coral coast then its alot easier..

- wouldnt recommend this for seniors or kids. There is a 20min hike up and down some fairly steep stairs

- There is virtually no toilet breaks for women. You are in a boat all day in the wildnerness

- It is expensive... no denying that. But it is difficult to come across experiences like this so worth the money.

Go for it and enjoy the day!!
