This resort is perfect for a romantic getaway. No children, great food, the most sincere and warm welcome you can ever get. I will be going back!
If you are a diver - the diving is spectacular. if you are lazy, the pool is great.

We had a great time at Tokoriki, rooms were excellent, staff extremely friendly, food great. Tokoriki is a beautiful tropical island, the pictures dont do it justice, we met some lovely people while we were there, enjoyed the environment and had some awesome experieces. We would highly recommend Tokoriki to anyone looking to unwind and relax in a tropical environment. There are activities to participate in or just simply relax. Great selection of wines on menu!!!

We we fortunate enough to pick Tokoriki as our honeymoon destination in October 2008. Tokoriki is certinalty one of the most majical places I have ever visited. From the moment we arrived on the island we had a feeling of total calm. The staff were amazing, super friendly and nothing was to much trouble for them. The food and wine package was good to with plenty of selection every day.
A highligh for us was the honeymoon picnic, where you are taken on a 40min boat ride and droped on a secluded beach where its just you, your partner, white sandy beach and the best snorkelling around (oh and a hamper of food and champange!!) one tip, if you get the choice get dropped at the first deserted island, as aparently the second island doesn't have any shelter and it was baking hot!
We also did the champange island hopping which was great as we got to see some other islands and really realise just how wonderful Tokoriki was, as majority of them were overcrowed and full of children, on the boat journey back we had so many dolphins swimming around the boat...we stopped and hung out with them for a while. Lovely. If you can get the helicopter transfer form the airport because its one of the last islands out there you have to drop everyone else off first. The rooms are divine with fresh flowers every day! Total Heaven...I can't wait to go back!! If I had to say one negative it would be that there was no fitness centre...but I guess in a place like that none wants to work out anyway!!

Although it was still wet season Nov-Apr (we did manage to get several days of sun but also several days of rain) this was a dream destination for our honeymoon. If you want to kick back relax and get away from it all this is the place to go. Note there is no TV, Radio or any forms of media on the island but that is the whole point. It's the best possible way to force yourself to just chill out absorb the beautiful suroundings spend real quality time with your special someone and either be as involved or not in the activities/people on the island. There were only 20 people on average for our 10 night stay. You def need mossie repellant and sunscreen but regardless of the weather the temp of both air and sea was always warm. An absolutely brilliant place to stay and well worth every penny. Biggest tip - take the meal plan it is worth it, the food etc is very expensive. We saved big time by doing this thanks to some good advice from our agent and who wants to worry about the $$ they are spending whilst on their honeymoon. Oh and the colour of the water and marine life is the most beautiful I've seen anywhere. Lastly the Tokoriki staff are just gorgeous people!

Nice little resort where they used a lot of wood to construct the rooms and main building which gives a very nice and relaxing atmosphere.
Rooms are spacious and comes with outdoor shower, hammock and ocean view. They are clean and comes with small nice soaps etc.

Hotels provides for snorkeling gear, kayaks, hobie cats, tours etc free of charge. The quality if these services was great!

To our surprise it is a very interactional hotel where they will sing a welcome/goodbye song during dinner hours to everyone who arrives on the island, will sing you a serenade during dinner and tell you about what will happen during the following day. At first we hated the island as we just wanted pace and quite but we ended up liking it and made a lot of new friends with the other guests.

The staff will know you by name and stop and chit chat with you all the time. Nice atmosphere.

My partner and I went for our honeymoon and we think the island was absolutely brilliant!! If you want to have a nice relaxing holiday to just spend with your partner and have privacy then this is the place to be - no phones or TV to annoy or distract you, just purely private time for ourselves.
We were in the sunset pool villa - spacious, modern, all essentials with a view to die for -calm beautiful ocean views in the morning and amazing sunsets to relax to in the evening.
The staff was amazing! They made the effort to help you and they actually made you feel like they have been friends for a long time. Food was excellent - we chose the meal plan and we struggled with dessert on each meal because the mains were so filling!
Activities were great especially if you were into swimming, snorkelling, kayaking and the like. If you want a white beach from movies go elsewhere but the beach was great - beautiful sand and plenty of clear water for swimming.
Only dislike was the lack of motorised watersports but otherwise it was brilliant!

We wanted to find the perfect paradise with a powdery white beach and clear light blue water as part of our honeymoon. Unfortunately we didn't find it at Tokoriki. The resort was very nice and the staff are amazing but we were disappointed by the food and the beach. The beach was light yellow rather then white. The food was very poor for a resort which charged luxury 5 star prices. If your a beach lover you maybe a little disappointed and we would recommend looking at Aitutaki which is in the Cook Islands - truly paradise and absolutely stunning especially One Foot Island.

Bula LisaTai,
It's been a few years since your review and we wanted to let you know that Tokoriki has recently been voted the #1 Hotel in Fiji and #1 Hotel in the South Pacific and #16 Hotel in the world and is now an adults only resort....we have grown to 36 bures and pool villas and in February this year added a state of the art kitchen for our talented chefs, along with a new restaurant and cocktail bar and Fiji's best heli pad over the ocean at the end of the jetty. Mother nature has been kind to us and our beach is looking great. Do let us know should you wish to return to experience the new Tokoriki so that we can arrange your return guest treats. Vinaka!
