A stunning setting for a first class resort. The only thing that matches the natural beauty of the location is the natural happiness and warmth of the staff. The facilities are as good as you'd expect for such a resort and the villas are superb. We went diving too and had a fantastic dive, seeing countless reef sharks, tropical fish and even a turtle.

What a destination! It was, for all intents and purposes, our first trip to Fiji. We stayed two nights on Denarau acclimatising and four nights at the Six Senses. We now resent the wasted days on Denarau.

Six Senses was more experience than resort for us. The staff become your friends. I don’t know how they do it but everyone seems to know you, your names, your needs, your stories. We have stayed in many beach resorts over the years but the care here is really something special.

Food and beverage, both product and service, is stellar. Unlike many other resorts, the focus is not on quantity but on quality. This matches the wellness mission that the resort practises.

We stayed in beachfront Villa 8. Our private plunge pool and deck chairs got a surprising amount of use, probably because of how beautifully enclosed they were with garden. The stroll down to the beach, directly from the villa, opened a serene vista and an easy walk down to the main facilities area. There were plenty of entertainment toys for us and our 8 year old and tropic surf took one of us for a fabulous surfing experience; well worth going out even if you can’t surf.

We used the spa facilities on several occasions and loved all of treatments and you can’t miss open air movie night at Tei Tei.

Everything you might want is coordinated by a single person who looks after you for your entire stay. Our Seini was terrific. Nothing was too much trouble.

It is a first class property worth whatever sacrifice is needed to experience it.

We love reading reviews like this, and thank you for taking the time to write your review.

You were able to see what Six Senses is all about, especially with our wellness programs and just how much we are doing with our sustainability programs.

We are extra proud of TeiTei, our pizzeria and outdoor cinema is a great way to sit back, relax and enjoy our slice of paradise here in the Mamanuca Islands.

Come home to Fiji soon, we are ready and waiting :)

Was a nice few days at the resort. Unfortunately the resort is still under construction and there’s a bit of noise during the day but the villas are nice. We had plenty of space in the residence. The resort is a bit lacking in terms of activities, water sports options are limited, however we did manage to get out on their hobie cat for a bit of sailing. The service and food were good although some things happened on “Fiji time” aka not punctual. The island is nice and big and I explored
The surrounding hills on foot as well as kayaked around the island. Overall it was a
Good stay, would likely visit again in the future but once all construction is finished and they’ve added some activities.

We appreciate your time in writing you review about your stay with us at Six Senses Fiji.

I have passed on your comments to the relevant teams here at the resort.

We have made some significant changes in the past month across many areas such as watersports - we offer complimentary non-motorised watersports equipment (snorkelling, stand-up-paddle, and the hobie cat as you outlined above). Our activities operator offers a schedule of daily experiences which can be booked such as reef diving and snorkelling, day trips to Cloud 9 and Malamala Beach Club.

We are continually working with our hosts regarding food and beverage service.

If you are planning a Winter getaway, we would love to welcome you back to Six Senses Fiji to see the changes, my email is carl.amos@sixsenses.com.

Even completely jet lagged, it’s exciting to get picked up from a long journey and be swept along by private motor boat to this resort. As we walked up to the welcoming entrance there was a musician playing on his guitar, and several staff waiting to greet
us. The wonderful baker even presented a cake as it was my man’s birthday!

I LOVE Six Senses - the brand is Brilliant. I was at Six Senses in Con Dao, Vietnam and Oman’s Zighy Bay. The resorts are all gorgeous and remote; luxury is measured by top quality/healthy food, raked beaches, lovely suites and excellent equipment for water sports. Fiji’s resort had all of these attributes and also the most wonderful and friendly staff. We learned a lot about their culture and now understand why they are among the happiest people on our globe. There are so many to thank, but I want to give a shout out to Seini and Mojje as they went far beyond classic hospitality and became more like friends.

When we departed, we felt like we were leaving family.
We will return.

The whole trip was fabulous, from the personal greeting at the dock to our own guest experience person (Box) the journey began. The staff (Lucas, Fiona, Ben, etc, etc.) and chef(s) were terrific and responded appropriately to our every request. We were very impressed with the sustainability features and importance on making sure nothing is wasted What we noticed compared to other resorts is we really got to know other guests and made new friends, a double bonus. We will definitely be back to this or another Six Senses resort.

Room tip: All rooms are comparable, but I would recommend beach front.
