Uncle Mick's is by far our favorite place to eat in Prattville. We lived in Prattville for 3 years, just 1/2 mile from Uncle Mick's. We still drive 25 miles from our new home to eat there once a month. They serve authentic Cajun dishes such as crawfish étouffée, gator, gumbo, crab augratin, among many others. They also have delicious dirty rice, although it is a little on the oily side. It is packed with sausage and ground beef. They have a spicy Potato salad that's great and they spice up ordinary green beans by adding spicy Cajun sausage. The owner is the friendliest man you'll ever meet. He is always there when we have eaten there, and he makes sure customers are well taken care of. This restaurant embodies what the small local business is all about. Uncle Mick's defines excellent customer service and consistent quality. Don't miss it if you are in the Prattville area and love Cajun cuisine!
