The hotel was very clean and the staff was so nice and friendly. The breakfast was great in the mornings. I would always stay at this hotel and because of their service I will be looking at staying at Hampton Inns for now on if all their hotels and service are that good.

This was my second time staying at this Hampton Inn (see review from January 3, 2012), and felt there were a few points worth noting this go around.

Overall it was a great stay. The hotel and rooms are still new(ish) and clean, and the bed is comfortable. Those are really the most important points for me when choosing a hotel.

Last time I'd complained about poor sound-proofing, but this time I didn't experience any issues. I was in a third floor room (top floor), and don't think I had any neighbors which probably accounts for the lack of noise from adjacent rooms!

As for the complimentary breakfast - some of the breakfast items were somewhat below par. Particularly among the hot items - I'd avoid the biscuits and gravy, and eggs, although the oatmeal was good enough. And you can't go wrong with the packaged foods, like yogurt and cereal. There are also a number of pastries and fruit, which I did not try.

Considering the other hotel options in the area, I still stand by this being the best hotel in the immediate area.

Room Tip: I'd opt for a 3rd floor room if possible - and try to avoid having neighbors (noisy)

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Ozark area. It is conveniently located (we were visiting our son at Ft. Rucker), it is relatively new and clean, and the hotel staff are friendly. For hotels in this price range, we appreciate the choices at the Hampton Inn, as all of our family can find things they like to eat. The hotel, at least while we were there, is very quiet. We were also happy to have a microwave and mini refrigerator in the room.

Traveling between Tampa and Memphis, this was an excellent choice for me. A new property, with an attentive staff and lovely rooms. A nice big LG TV, and the mini microwave and fridge were a bonus. My favorite part, though was the fact that it was in a quiet country location as opposed to the Dothan and Troy areas. They are more densely populated and really a challenge after driving all day to get to dinner across multiple lanes of traffic dodging tired commuters. Even better, the nice lady at the front desk, told me of a GREAT Mexican restaurant, Rodeo, very near by. Only possible complaint was the blaringly loud FOX pretend News annoying us at breakfast. Do we really need Republican opinions forced on us as soon as we wake up? Weather Channel or Headline News would be less annoying. I will be back, though..

Room Tip: Ask for a room NOT facing the highway if possible. Those trucks sure are loud when you turn off the...

Enjoyed our posted note stating that the Comforter and sheets were just washed. We did have to wait about 30 minutes to check in at 2:15 in the afternoon, however was told that the rooms had to be inspected. The room was very clean. If we ever need to go back to Ozark, we will stay there again

This is a terrific little hotel--immaculate room and lobby, comfortable beds, crisp linens, good shower pressure, LG TV, microwave, and mini-fridge. Even though both TVs were turned full-volume to Fox TV at breakfast, the food was hot w/something for everyone. The front desk staff was friendly, even on our late arrival. An excellent value!

We spent four nights at Hampton, Ozark and we had a wonderful stay. The hotel is immaculate and the appointments are above average for a Hampton. Our interaction with hotel staff was pleasant The breakfast bar was fully stocked and they offered fresh, cut-up pineapple and citrus fruits each morning. They also had eggs and other hot breakfast items.

The room was furnished very nicely and the beds very comfortable. They also add softener to the towels so they are not like sandpaper to use which you find in most hotels.

While we were there, a ball team of young boys were also visiting and the first night they were very loud and rambunctious, throwing the ball in the hallways, talking loudly, etc. Management was notified and they were on our floor within minutes and handled the problem. We did not have any more issues.

I would make one suggestion for the exercise room. The treadmill can be tricky to use and it would be a great help if some basic instructions be attached to the machine. I found that the machine quickly starts and stops and it was hard to figure out how to use it.

We will definitely return to the Hampton on our next visit to Ozark. I highly recommend this hotel!
