Unlike many of the other restaurants in our area, Cayman Grill has been renovated to include noise reduction foam in between the tongue in groove ceiling. I could hear my tables conversations and barely anyone else's at other tables. I am a local and know how distracting noisy places can be. This is not one of them.
I took my kids in and we had the fondue appetizer, tuna, and bacon cheeseburger. The cuts of fish were enormous, the burger was so large that my son needed to take 3/4 of it home. The sides were fresh and tasty. The food was quick and even though the place was getting filled up as we were eating, everyone seemed to be attended to and satisfied.
The chef was walking around asking how the food was, the manager was introducing himself, and the staff was attentive. My glass was never empty.
We also tried out 3 of the desserts! They were awesome!

We tried this new restaurant out last Friday with 2 other couples and we won't be back. The restaurant is wide open and is extremely loud with only about 10 tables occupied during the time we were there. Our fish was dry, borderline fish jerky. The management and servers have many problems. Plus, our food took 1.5 hours from the time we ordered it to be delivered and was delivered at different times to make it worse.

The newly opened Cayman Grille located in a restaurant building that had been vacant since Hurricane Ivan is finally open. We were welcomed and seated immediately with prompt attention from our server. Prices are very reasonable for both drinks and food. The menu is diverse offering a lot of choices for both types of food and price ranges.
The portions were generous and very well prepared. The fish was very fresh! Finally, the Roulade that is prepared by the pastry chef was excellent!

Our first impression was good when we found out they take reservations. We asked to be seated by the window overlooking the bay. Our server was Jessica and was very accommodating and friendly. The crispy oysters we shared as an appetisers were wonderful. They were slow getting the drinks to us because the bar area is too far away from where we were seated. My husband talked with Mike, the manager, about adding another bar at that end because it's a huge dining room. The chef is a New Orleans import who was very friendly and was pleased we talked with him to tell how good things were. The bread was fresh and tasty as were the steaks and Caesar salads. We each had the sweet potatoes which were delicious - just too much with all the other food we ordered. There are still a few kinks to work out but their first day of business was New Year's Eve, so they are working on them. We will definitely be going back.

Opening on New Years Eve, 2013, Cayman Grill offers a terrific dining experience with open dining room of bright Caribbean colors and décor with delicious food and excellent service.

Our waitress, Allison, was very knowledgeable on all the entrees . I ordered one of the specials....10 oz. French wood grilled chicken breast served w/a Lafitte sauce (brandy cream sauce w/ shrimp & crawfish tails) whipped russet potatoes, wood grilled asparagus for $18...taste buds going wild.
My partner ordered rack of baby back ribs which includes large fresh salad, rosemary popover and two sides. Smoky ribs not slathered with any kind of sauce allowing the goodness of the meat to prevail
