We went on recommendation of a friend. Nice staff, large menu selection, pleasant atmosphere on the wharf.

What a delightful experience! Our server Jennifer was superb! It was happy hour so my $1.99 pia colada was particularly incredible! Started with shrimp cocktail-large fresh tasty shrimp. Excellent. Had the fish in a tin. Very mild flavor (not for those that want a very flavorful or salty fish) offset set by the spicy black beans over rice. Very good. The grilled green beans were terrific and the bread pudding sealed the deal. A wonderful dining experience.
We had a great dinner at the Compleat Angler. My husband had the ribeye which he said was the best steak he'd every had (better than steaks in KC). I had crab cakes which were also very good. Be sure to stay for the show on the Wharf.
I had lunch here recently and the selection, price and food were really very good for such a touristy location. Recommend
Went on weekday afternoon after Labor Day so no waiting. The server was excellent, decor and atmosphere was excellent and lunch specials were reasonable. Appetizers: Conch fritters were okay. Sweet potato fries okay. Not much for the price. The entrees were excellent. The tritail fish in Stevie Nicks sauce is not to be missed. Fried oysters and shrimp were good. Hamburger for our non seafood lover was excellent. Total bill with 2 appetizers, 6 entrees and tip were just over $100. We were not disappointed and certainly will return when in area.
