Description: In 1984, Louisiana Lagniappe was opened and established inside Sandpiper Cove condominiums in what was at one time the Sandpiper Cove Yacht Club. A loyal following was quickly established due, in no small part, to the quality of the food and the attention to detail of the service. In 1998 The Southern Restaurant Group took ownership of the restaurant with a commitment to maintain the same level of food quality and service. Since then, Louisiana Lagniappe has consistently served only the freshest seafood and steaks. Now open year round, Louisiana Lagniappe is the spot for a memorable dining experience on all levels. In 1999, a second Louisiana Lagniappe was opened in the San Roc Cay Shopping and Marina Complex in Orange Beach, Alabama. Offering the same fine Louisiana seafood with a Creole flair, the attire is casual, yet an upscale waterfront dining experience is provided for the entire family.

Plan to dine at Louisiana Lagniappe during a trip to the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area of Alabama. Ask for Tracy and be promised attentive service! The "Ponchutrain Grouper," accompanied with a salad and a twice baked potato, was large enough to share. Delicious hush puppies were automatically served instead of bread. The service is exceptional with our beverages being consistently refilled without asking. Highly recommend a visit to dine in style and be completed satisfied! Reservations are not accepted, so plan to arrive early and patiently wait to be seated!

We had eight friends out on a Golfing Trip select the restaurant for dinner. ALL were very pleased. The restaurant has an excellent menu with a heavy focus on local seafood. Many of us had the Grouper - outstanding. Full bar and attentive Wait Staff. I highly recommend.

I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed .I start with two appetizers, oyster lagniappe and the eggplant with crabmeat topped with a wonderful sauce. My entree is usually grouper topped with soft shell crab and pecan sauce.
My wife gets the fried shrimp and is very happy with her selection.
This place is very busy,so expect to wait, but it's worth it! They have a great bar and the service is second to none!

We had a very pleasant experience eating here for lunch. The service was very good and unpretentious. I had an omlette and my wife had French toast. Both were very good. The dining room looks out over sort of an upscale marina, which is nice. I think everyone gets a complimentary mimosa drink, which is a good touch. I can't think of anything remotely negative to say about it. Everything on the menu looked good and we will certainly go back.
