“Great Fish!”
Reviewed June 11, 2007

Cooking fish is an art form. If it is a little off it leads to a huge poor taste. The Steamer has cooking fish down to a perfect science. I had the best tilapia I ever had here. The side dishes are also outstanding. I highly recommend this place. The service is just as great as the food. The restaurant is also very child friendly.

“Loved it”
Reviewed June 6, 2007

Be warned, the steamed shrimp is a whole shrimp which you must de-head, peel, devein yourself. They are so fresh it's worth it if you have the energy for it. Crab Cakes were super- mostly all crab although mine were a little burned on the bottom but I can forgive that for a good crab cake. Marinated crab claws were pretty good but the marinade (italian dressing??) did interfere and I would prefer less added flavor to my crab. Key LIme Pie authentic, a small portion, plainly served but tart and good.

“Best so far!”
Reviewed May 28, 2007

Cozy little no-frills restuarant. But what they lack in seating and flare, they more than make up for in good. The "combo" is great. You get a cluster of crab legs, a big pile of mussels and a whole plate full of giant red shrimp fresh from the gulf for around $15. Im not much on fried food, and it seems like every where you go, you cant get your seafood any way but fried. This place is great if you want to get away from the taste-stealing grease and batter and really taste the seafood.

“great grouper poboy”
Reviewed October 4, 2006

We weren't especially wowed by the shrimp or crab but thought the grouper poboy was outstanding. We had it twice while we were there and will definitely go back. Nice outside porch
