“Top shelf ingredients make for great sandwiches”
Reviewed June 22, 2012

Stopped by here for lunch on a recommendation from the bartender at the Hampton Inn. Great suggestion. If you're looking for a small but very nice selection of boutique wines look no further. Very personable staff serving up great deli sandwiches, home made soups and salads. They use Boars Head meats in their sandwiches. I had a Cuban that was very good. My wife had a shrimp salad wrap sandwich that was delicious. There was a Muffaletta at our table that was well executed and a bowl of tomato basil florentine soup that was very tasty. Someone else in our group had the turkey and rice soup and was told it was also very good.

This is a top rated restaurant in Orange Beach according to TripAdvisor. If you need a break from the wonderful local seafood, this may be the ticket. They also do a wine tasting on Saturday's for a five dollar bill. The folks that own this place a really nice.

“yummy sandwiches”
Reviewed March 16, 2012

The Grape Escape offers a very good selection of freshly made sandwiches, salads, and soups. The sandwiches are made with Boar's Head meat and are freshly sliced for each sandwich. Several desserts are also available. Food is ordered at the counter either for take out or eat in. There are several tables available for eat in and a friendly server brings your meal to the table. The food is delicious. We each ordered a panini sandwich and enjoyed every mouthful. They also have wine tastings every Saturday - be sure to enquire about these. We definitely plan to return for the excellent food.

“Neat little deli that opens for morning coffee.”
Reviewed February 27, 2012

We stopped in twice, and they have coffee, flavored coffee, and other morning drinks. My wife had some Turkey soup, which was very, very good. There are many great wines in here, too. They also do sandwiches and panini. The only drawback is that they don't open until 9 a.m.
