I have been to this hotel 3 times since they have opened and will keep coming back every chance I get! The rooms are very nice and very clean! You must get a beachfront the sunrise abd sunset are to die for! The breakfast is great but get rid of the turkey links! Everyone just makes you feel special from the front desk to the housekeepers! But there is one person I have to point out one person at the front desk clerk Miss Jessica. She is a ray of sunshine from the time we hit the door she greeted us, welcomed me as my diamond member had a blast at check-in, told us about a free tote bag, and gave us great places to shop and eat at. During our stay she even called me her new auntie! She remembered my last name and room number! Now thats great service. Keep up the good work Jessica, we will be back soon!

We took a short 4 day Fall getaway October 11-14, 2012, everyone was so friendly from Sabrina at the front desk, Oscar at the Tiki Bar..the hotel was very clean & housekeeping was very efficient.
The breakfast was very good & had hot & cold selections for everyone.
The Shrimp Festival happend to be going on the days we were there, so we asked about going down to it & Sabrina promptly gave us a card for Ride for $5..it was a great service..you call the number and they pick you up at the hotel and take you right to wherever you want to go & will pick you up when you call & drop you back off at the front door of the hotel..we never had to wait more than 5 minutes after we called for them to pick us up..
This was the first time we had been to Orange Beach?Gulf Shores, AL area & the Hampton Inn & Suites but it won't be our last

Room Tip: ask for beach front

The hotel is fairly new. Nice, clean, rooms with average furnishing and amenities. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the regular rooms (maybe there is one in the suites).
Rooms facing the gulf have a balcony that will provide you with an outstanding view of the ocean. Rooms facing the other way,have no balcony and face the street. The swimming pool outside is pretty and faces the gulf; there is a walkway/pier to the beach with a shower to rinse your sandy-self before going back into the hotel.
Complementary breakfast is not outstanding but is well-stocked and has an assortment of cereals, pastries, fruit yogurt etc as well as eggs, sausage, bacon. Enough to fill you up before going to the beach.
Staff in the front desk were not particularly cheerful, but the check-in & check out process was uneventful.
The best feature about the hotel is definitely the gulf-front location.

I would like to start off by thanking you for taking the time to review the Hampton Inn and Suites in Orange Beach, we are so thrilled that you noticed the cleanliness of the hotel and enjoyed the view. Unfortunately our standard rooms do not have refrigerators or microwaves, just our suites do. However, this is something that we will be trying to put in place in the future.
We take our reviews and comments literal and want to do everything in our power to improve. As for the breakfast, we do our best to provide options that all of our guests will enjoy, our breakfast manager has noted your comment and will be playing with their recipes to make sure our guests walk away remembering our breakfast.
As the Front office manager, I am saddened to hear about your comments referencing the front desk, although I am pleased that you took the time to tell use, because after all its comments and reviews from our guests that help us improve. I will be training my employees on their tact at the front desk and changing some things around to ensure that we have the right personalities at the front desk, after all they are the first impression for the hotel. I can assure you that in the future when you return you will notice a difference with our breakfast and our front desk and hope that you do visit us again. Everyone was so nice that helped sense we were there due to my fathers death but they upgraded our room so we could have a fridge. The free breakfast was yummy a good selection.The place was really clean and pretty I would tell people to stay and the sunsets were beautiful Thanks
