Phoenix VII through Brett- Robinson is one of the best places to rent a Condo. I have never seen beaches so clean and pristine in my life. The rooms are fully stocked with supplies. The staff is friendly and assistive. It is a great place to stay.

Condo (P7-7613) was nicely furnished; relatively new appliances, washer, and dryer. Balcony overlooks the outdoor pool and the beach is readily accessible via a boardwalk. Beach was very clean. Condo is within walking distance of several smaller restaurants (The Gulf is highly recommended). Four elevators provide quick access to the lobby, indoor pool, and fitness center. Wireless internet access is poor. Condo hadn't been well cleaned before our arrival but the front desk promptly addressed the issue. I gave a poor value rating as we were there during the 4th of July weekend when everything is overpriced.

This was my fifth time staying in Orange Beach at the Phoenix, but first time to stay at VII. I liked it so much more. The lobby area was real nice and clean. The indoor and outdoor pool is huge and the indoor swimming area has three hot tubs! I love the fact that the kiddy pool is completely fenced in from the other pool so no worries about them getting lost among the older kids. Very nice property.

Room Tip: I would not chose room 7804. It shows a select rating; however, I was not at all impressed with this...

We had a great time at Pheonix VII. The beach was beautiful and our view from the condo was fabulous. The unit that we stayed in was clean and comfortable. My husband and I are nature photographers and we had abundance of photo opportunities. There were many beautiful views all around Pheonix VII and we also were able to photograph some amazing bird images.

-Our room was nice. Check-in was easy, although the Resortquest office (the rental company we used) was located in Gulf Shores, which made for an extra stop. The front desk was friendly, and sent maintenance quickly for two small issues we had. Our 10th floor room had a great Ocean View. We spent our time in the room on the balcony watching boats, parasailers, dolphins and more.
-The beach area is fantastic. Tons of white sand and dunes which several families used as a backdrop for photos. About half the days provided good waves for boogie boarding. This is The Gulf, so the water ranged from light green to brown. The gradual grade of the beach did provide a great swimming area for kids and a good wading area for adults.
-Beach chairs are available on the beach for rent. They are $25 per day(or $5 per hour) for two padded chairs and an umbrella. They also save your spot via a chalkboard in case you want to leave and come back or even rent the same chair for several days. We had not problem getting a chair when we wanted it.
-Tents - many families set up tents on the beach for shade. Tents have to be kept behind a line behind the rental chairs. This sets you back a bit from the beach, if you have a tent. We brought a tent with us, but opted not to use it so we could be closer to the water.
-The pool area is nice with two covered cabanas and several grills which were used every night by families. We never had a problem getting a chair by the pool, which has been a chore at other resorts. The pool gets to be a little more of a party at night with many bringing music and drinks down. There is also an indoor pool and several hot tubs which came in handy when it was raining.
-Access to restaurants, grocery stores, gas and activities is all extremely close and traffic was not too bad. For reference, many restaurants have a 1-2 hour wait for dinner during peak times. Be prepared, eat early or find restaurants that take reservations(like Big Fish).
-Activities like tennis and racquetball fill up in the afternoon, so sign up and play early. They will also check out a volleyball and have a great volleyball net on the beach. Basketball is not great at Phoenix VII. It is a tall goal(for kids) in a parking lot.

Room Tip: Higher floors have a great view of the Gulf. First floor rooms have easy pool and grill access, if t...

We have been going to orange beach and booking through Brett Robinson for the past few years over July 4th and everything has always been great. But, this year was the last. Upon arrival after being promised an early check-in while booking the unit we were told that not only were we not going to be able to check-in early but our 4pm check-in was questionable as they had to many checkouts going to guarantee our check-in time. After explaining what we were promised we were told " we will get to it when we get to it". After several hours waiting we decided to call the booking office and see what they had to say where a supervisor was absolutely awful to us. Due to it being July 4th and everywhere being booked and us just have traveled 12 hours to be there we choose to go ahead and stay. We then went to our unit that was amazing in the pics but in person a HUGE disappointment. Junk appliances that didn't all work it took 3 cycles through the dryer to get a load to dry. A stove that had a couple knobs that if you touched them they fell off and bedding and furniture that was all stained...just felt dirty. Later trying to cook dinner while pulling dishes from the cabinet to my surprise....mold!!! Needless to say we ate with plastic ware and paper plates and used paper towels. Ordinarily we would have just told them to move us or something but with all of the drama at the beginning we just left it alone and tried to make the best of it. A few days later our son lost his eyeglasses on the beach so we searched and searched ..no luck!! We then went to the front desk and asked if anyone had turned them in and she quickly said no without even checking anything or with anyone else. We asked if someone were to turn them in if they could let us know and we were told no they don't do that if we wanted we could check back so I then called the neighboring Phoenix buildings and asked the same and was given the EXACT same response. I think the only thing they really care about is booking not re-booking future stays!!! Never again, for $500 a night I'm sure we can find somewhere that appreciates our business!!!! Just to be clear about something also if you (Brett Robinson) are reading this, we have sent you at least 40 maybe 50 guests over the years as we own a popular hair salon and word of mouth is your best friend or your greatest enemy...lesson.. Be carful who you treat like dirt!!

Staying at the Phoenix VII with our children, reminds me of when I used to vacation at the Phoenix as a child. Great condo, great pools, and a perfect beach set up. The condo is conveniently located with many attractions for children. We couldn't have asked for more!
