Everyone was friendly and helpful. Tyler(beach attendant) was very attentive- he checked on us several times throughout the day.
The pool was clean. The gym was nice.
Will return to Perdido again soon.

I have stayed here many times for various conferences, and it is certainly adequate for that purpose. Nothing over-the-top special, but clean, safe, good location. Nice big rooms, decent meeting facilities, good location. The beach is really, really beautiful.

Step back into the 80's with brass and peach floral in lobby, yuk! BUT Rooms have been updated. Beds are not "heavenly" but they are decent. Room was a typical queen room. Has a small balcony. Staff was friendly, but don't expect professional.
Valet.... you pull in, they stand at their station, if you even see anyone. This is definitely an area they should improve. When they are busy, watch out.... you may spend a little time in the driveway.
Pool Bar, very friendly, a tad boring, but then again this is family oriented and it should be. The music at the pool will lull you into a deep sleep.
Room Service... nice that it's available, but wasn't worth the money, not to mention it was late.
They do have nice big cold refrigerators, definite bonus. The entire lobby and dining areas are very, very outdated, unless your 70. They have a nice beach and nice pools . If I were with children, I would come back. It's much easier than lugging groceries to a condo and cooking/cleaning all the time.

I stayed here as past of a conference or else I wouldn't have been able to afford it. My ocean front room was about $329/night. The room was clean with a great view of the Gulf. The room darkening curtains helped aid in a good night's rest. The bathroom was rather small with rather inadequate lighting in the shower area.

The food was good, especially the pizza and the service was good too, especially at Tue Splash Bar with Greg and John.

The beach was clean and well groomed. The pool was decent s well.

If you can come here on someone else's dime, Is highly recommend it if you're footing the bill it might pay to shop around although I would think other rooms on the beach would he similarly priced.

Overall, I recommend the Perdido and Room 6016.

A very nice place to stay! We had a last minute booking because our other hotel reservations fell thru. The entire staff was very courteous, nice, and accommodating. The different places to eat at we're very yummy when you don't want to leave the resort. The only thing is that the pizza they advertise in the elevator at the pizzeria they didn't have and that was disappointing because it looked delicious. The cleaning staff did a good job, making sure the resort was kept very clean!

This "hotel" is overpriced. I say Hotel, because that's all it is. The rooms are very small, and there's nothing special about the place. It was overpriced for what was received. I got a special rate (if you could call it that) because I attended a conference here - my "cut" rate was of $279/night (I believe regular price is over $300/night). The place is way overpriced for what's offered. I will not go back here. The pool area and beach are nice, but some of the other hotels on the beach would have been just as accomodating and not so pricy. I would've at least thought they'd have included a complimentary breakfast with the stay, but nothing ......not even a donut!!. All you get is the room and it's a small room at that. Beds are not comfortable-hard as rocks. Bathroom was very small. The only good think I can say is that the room was clean.

We love this hotel, and the rooms were recently renovated and look amazing! We also slept great in the beds...just like home. The kids can always find something to do or eat here and the pool and beach access is excellent! I was attending two conferences over a week's time and stayed at a condo for half the time. I confirmed that the Perdido Beach hotel for my family is still the Best Stay!

Room Tip: Ask for beach/pool view if you have kids; if not ask for gulf/ocean
