This is a sad excuse for a barbeque place. I got the pulled pork platter and their was more fat than actual meat. The service was slow and refills were rare. I do not recommend the Country's on Atlanta hwy.

Hi Christy, I am very disappointed to hear about your recent experience at our Atlanta Hwy. location. Just like people, sometimes we may have a bad day. Please know that your experience is not typical and I hope you will give us another try. Thank you for your feedback so that we can improve!

We came in at 8 PM and ordered two plates trying to save money and avoid taking food home that platters would necessitate. The bill was still a tad over $30. The BBQ was good, collards were appreciated, corn bread was gone before we got there, waitress was great.
It's off the street down a short lane so watch for the sign where you turn in.

This is your typical Southern home style cooking. There was a good Sunday crowd and we got a table for eleven. We thought the specials pricing was great. Southern comfort food with fried green tomatoes. OK for a nice family outing at a good price.

I tried the special and was not impressed. Service was slow and the slow cooked pork was not that good. Frence fries were also not worthy. Overly large soda's was great!!

We were in town for the day and just stopped in for a bar-b-que sandwich. There were cars in the lot, so we took a chance. One problem with our lunch was that we were not even sure what type of meat it was on the bun. It appeared to be the little chucks of meat that you get in Chinese restaurants and they call it chicken, but you just can't be sure. It was supposed to be pork. And, the meat seemed more like it was boiled that cooked on a grill. Also, the bun was soaked in some sort of clear liquid. Anyway, we regretted choosing it over one of the nearby fast food chains. The service was good, but the food does not come anywhere close to the quality of a Full Moon, Jim N Nicks, or Golden Rule (or even the brisket sandwich at Firehouse).
