My coworkers and I went to Baumhower's Downtown for lunch on 12/18/12. We actually went in the wrong door. We did not go into the RSA building first, but entered through a secondary door that from the outside, looked like the entry. Anyway, we were inside for just a few seconds and the manager spotted us and directed us to the hostess stand where we were greeted and seated nearby. One of the people in our party is allergic to shell fish and asked about the fried chicken. The manager came over and spoke to us about use and disposal of grease and calmed any apprehension about getting chicken that had been fried with shell fish. He spoke to us a couple more times during our meal and said good-bye to us when we were leaving. The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated, a little noisy for lunch, but not too bad. There was plenty of wait staff and our food arrived in a timely manner. This was our FIRST visit to this Baumhower's, but will not be our last.
