Looking for a change from the restaurants on the bay, we decided to try The Royal Scam on the advice of a friend. We arrived at 6:30 and it was not crowded at all but an hour later most tables were full. Had the gumbo as a starter, it was good, not the best but still good. Had the blackened red snapper special for dinner and it was great. Grilled very nicely with a delicious sauce. Service was very quick, friendly, and stopped by many times to check if anything else was needed.
