We arrived at the Battle House on a busy Friday night and were going to order room service (which is good, by the way). Then we decided we would take a chance downstairs since some of the room service menu comes from the Trellis Room, anyway. Good choice. The sommelier was also our server so all our questions were answered and recommendations made. Our pinot grigio was perfect and the bread was very good. We loved the mussels and the tuna carpaccio. She got the ribeye but I opted for the veal chop. I was expecting a small, thin piece of meat. This thing was huge! Inch and a half to two inches thick. Cooked perfectly with an excellent sauce. Ours sides... polenta, asparagus and mushrooms were all good. Coffee and dessert certainly didn't disappoint. We'll make this place a habit when we stay in town.
