We loved the Malaga Inn. It is just a short walk to all the restaurants and nightlife of downtown Mobile. We found it to be quaint, cozy and spotless. The background of the historic Inn is really interest and the New Orleans style courtyard quite picturesque. The staff was always friendly and helpful. If you travel to Mobile, look no further. We will definitely be returning!

Room Tip: Ask for a historic room in one of the twin townhouses built in 1862.

The Malaga proudly displays their tripadvisor plaque in the front lobby and the reviews for the place were mostly good. Our time was ok but a couple of things need attention.

First and foremost, the beds are lousy. There were others in my group and their beds were horrible too. Trying to sleep on a bad mattress is no fun and it detracts from the overall experience quite a bit. The place is old and they have not given it the required attention for a place its age. Electrical outlets are few and far between and some just don't work. The bathroom was feeling its age too and just some slight attention would make them much better.

The place has character and the location and staff are great.....but I need a good bed to sleep in at night and probably won't be back.

Room Tip: Stay off the 3rd floor. The elevator is a bit scary and the climb gets old.

This was very quaint. Breakfast room and bar were beautiful. The bathroom shower fixtures need to be updated. Nice continental breakfast where you make your own waffles in a neat waffle maker. Clean. Great value.

The Malaga Inn is located in the heart of Mobile's Malaga Square which commemorates the creation of a sister city relationship with Malaga, Spain. The Inn reflects the charm of Mobile and the warmth of the Spanish costal city after which it is named. Each room has its own charm and view and the courtyard draws them all together. You will find a warm welcome, more than enough individual attention whether it's to tour the historic Inn or to find places to eat and activities to enjoy.

Room Tip: If you want a historic experience, ask for a room in the antebellum protion of the Inn.

We were attending the Kyser Miree Fishing Memorial tournament this past weekend. It was canceled both weekends due to weather. The staff at Malaga Inn could not have been more helpful with rescheduling our accommodations.

The Malaga Inn staff were incredible! They truly made us feel welcome. In the mornings, they would tell us all about what was going on in downtown Mobile, different restaurants and shops we should check out, and information about our area. Malaga Inn is located two! streets away from Dauphin Street. It was so close to travel out on the town, but easy enough to find our way back.Thursday nights, the courtyard has music to be enjoyed by all.

Not only was the location amazing, but the Malaga Inn itself was fantastic! It is a beautiful, historic structure in the heart of downtown. Inside, Each room is completely different, rooms have four poster beds, balconies, and great AC! (it was especially hot that weekend, so we really enjoyed coming back to our hotel room). We did not even feel that it was a hotel- it was more welcoming and hospitable than that. I would suggest this hotel to everyone!

Room Tip: all the rooms are incredible!
