From the Battleship USS ALABAMA to the Submarine USS DRUM and over 25 aircraft, the spirit of military pride is alive and well.Aboard the battleship you will be able to explore 12 decks. Among those, you can climb inside gun turrets, get locked in the Brig, man a 12mm gun and much more. Also at the park, you will be able to go below and explore inside the oldest Submarine on display, Submarine USS DRUM. In the Medal of Honor Aircraft Pavilion as well as in the park, you will be able to view many rare and historic aircraft. A few in our collection include: A-12 Blackbird Spy Plane, OS2U Kingfisher, F-86L Sabre Jet, B-52 Bomber, just to name a few. While in the pavilion, don’t forget to take a ride on the Flight Simulator and experience flight without ever leaving the ground. It’s an unforgettable experience for the entire family. “Nice surprise”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

I must admit that I was less than thrilled when my husband announced that he wanted to stop here on our way back home to Texas from Florida.
What a nice surprise it was! Maybe even the highlight of our entire 9 day trip across country and back!
Some of the spaces are small and cramped but they have done everything they can to keep the experience authentic. My 6 foot 2, 220 lb son had a little difficulty navigating the submarine, but he got through it unscathed. I wish we would of had more time to explore here as we arrived within an hour of closing and just kinda "ran" through it. This place is ideal for folks of ALL ages..you will love it!

“Interesting”

It is informative and interesting attraction. If you are traveling with kids under 5 it is not advisable to tour the submarine. As some of the ladders are too steep and challenging.

“Not enough time”

The power, the class, the steel, the hugeness, and the firepower was amazing. Spend all day and who probably won't see it all. Well worth the price. Has my personal recomendation.

“Fun for Families.”
Reviewed November 18, 2012

You may run out of time attempting to see everything. As you would imagine, it's a very large vessel. Kids will get a kick out of being able to move the large guns on the deck. If lack of breathing space isn't an issue for you, you can also check out the half-submerged submarine. Very informative tour for adults.
