It took us a few goes to find this place after it was recommended by the Pakistani silk merchant in the main street where I bought some beautiful fabrics. Not just up the street as we had been led to believe. However a cab ride the following night brought us it a strip shopping centre where the carpark was packed with tables... a good sign.
We had the famous tandoori, a mutton curry and prawn curry and the sensational lime juice that is so popular everywhere. What a fantastic meal.. wonderful flavours and the naan bread, especially the Kashmiri naan.. studded with dried fruit and almonds was to die for.
We went there by cab and arranged for the driver to pick us up an hour later, we came back early so he could eat there too!
worth the search and so cheap.. about $15.
