I am disappointed by the way Naza hotels car park are being managed. I am a paying guest in the hotel in Malacca Naza Talyya on the 7th - 8th April 2012.
Was told that there is guard doing the rounds in the car park to assure safety of all cars. Sadly,I don't see any guards doing the rounds as claim.
Saw a sleeping guard though, but was told it was KIA guard.
My car was damaged due to a failed attempt to break in and the alarm system and keyhole to the car boot is damaged.
Complained and was told by security advisor that there is a sign there and hotel policy that state clearly park at your own risk.
It is unfair to all guest. For all I know, Naza staff can team up with a group of robbers to help themselves with the guest cars. Am I right? So should 1 guest stay in the car to assure safety of their car? We pay for the holiday trip, selected Naza hotel , but the management did not assure the safety of the cars. It seems it is a usual occurrences, as one of the guard told me that you should park further in front to avoid these from happening. Well,  there you go. That's the reason for the sign 'park at your own risk'.
Well what I asked for was to be compensated for these misfortune cause by the car park of the Naza Talyya hotel poor management. Was told by Security personnel I need to make a report, so they can take my report to do a claim for insurance and they can compensate. How marvelous is that? Why can't the management check from the CCTV, acknowledge its their fault, and compensate the guests, improved on security to avoid issues like this from happening in the future?

I have stayed in most hotels in malacca and this is the worst three star in town. I booked for the room and checked in but cancelled my stay and left due to the disgusting room condition. Rooms are old, smelly & dirty. Pillows & linens are stained. Toilet was disgusting. Please make sure you view my photos. Go somewhere else. Anywhere is better for the price.

We were invited to experience this lovely hotel at a very cheap price during the MATA fair in 2011. So... we took the opportunity to visit Melaka city again and stay in this hotel on 23.Dec.2011.

This hotel is located in city centre within easy reach of many tourist attractions. The hotel is clean and the staff helpful and pleasant. The Standard room we got was big and could easily fit in 4 people without extra beds as you can easily convert the 2 soft lazy chairs into beds.

The bathroom is big and clean. We found a mini-refrigerator and mini-safe for use. They also provide 3-in-1 coffee and tea bag with cordless kettle.

The only problem I found was their air-conditioning system. Their temperature control did not obey their settings. In my room, it was cold, whereas in my father's room, it was warm.

This was a last minute booking as well and we did not expect much from this hotel. The hotel
was easy to be located at Jalan Tun Ali (opposite Avilion Legacy Hotel) and it only has an open parking space behind the hotel. We were greeted with beautiful smile from the receptionists and they were friendly, fast to allocate room.

It was rather a simple hotel, lobby was not grand and they were still using key to access room.It was a 2 - 3 star hotel, so it was expected. For the room, it was nice...though it was not as spacious as I think for a deluxe family type. The bathroom and bed were clean but the bed was not so comfy. I think the bed's springs were weak and it was quite soft. There was a L-shape sofa which it was big enough to be another sleep area as well. The TV was old and small, reception was quite bad too. For the hot shower, the water was only mild warm...so, it was quite cold.

Overall, as long as it was clean and free of those husky smell, well, it was good to me. We did not stay long in the hotel and straight away headed to Jonker Street for foods, buying all those attractive souvenirs and other stuff. Of course, it was not a walking distance to the main tourist attraction, but those travel with car, it should not have problem. It took about 10 min to reach there. We had great deals at Jonker Street before we went to Menara Taming Sari to have another great fun. Wow...we reached there at night and we could view the whole Melaka city night scene. Beautiful!!

Next day, the breakfast at hotel was not as bad as we thought. Yes..they did not have a lot of choices but what I like was a special dish sound like "Getel Asam Daging" which it was served with a soft sticky round thinned rice pancake and the bowl of spicy & sour beef..it was delicious. According to the staff, it was an authentic Melaka breakfast and that was the first time I had tasted it. For the rest of the food, it was normal.

Before checking out, a group of big biker parked at the front hotel and blocked the entrance. Well, who cares...that beautify the hotel outlook...So, checked out was fast and efficent. If happened to be another short trip and don't mind of non-luxury accomodation, this place was still recommendable.

It was a last minute decision to go Malacca. Booked this hotel.

When we check in there were nobody there to open the hotel main door for us.

The lady at the Reception did not greet nor smile at all.

The room condition not that clean. There were stain in the shower wall and floor. Water heater takes long time to heat up.

The small lock at the door was spoilt.

Plug in the kettle to boil water but ut was not working.

Called the receptionist and operator at "0" and "1", the phone rang for more than 10 minutes but nobody pick up!

End up had to use handset to call the hotel giving them our room number and asked for service. Only then the receptionist call back to our and enquired. Then told use the electrical socket where we plug in the kettle is not working. Ask us to transfer the kettle to the electric point next to the Television.

I feel that they should not have given us that room since they already know that the room is not in a tip top condition. There are plenty of other vacant rooms as it was not a peak period

Air conditioning causes the blind to knock against the window,

Breakfast- The porridge taste terrible. The rice was not washed properly.

When we check out, nobody open the main door for us. There were several of the hotel employee chit chatting next o the main door who saw us but ignored our presence. Our hands were full with luggage at that time. The employee didnt not offer to open the door for us.

Very disappointed at the service. I feel we did not get the value for our money.

Room Tip: I dont know about other rooms but avoid room 405.

Went there for a short trip to escape from the hustle & bustle of the city centre. We book the room online and never had huge expectations on it. Location of the hotel is kinda strategic, just a few minutes walk to the nearby eateries. The reception service was excellent, our check in was done fast. Our room & toilet was very clean despite the fact that it was quite small. They have ample parking space so travelling with cars will never be a problem. Breakfast buffet was rather limited on options, but it was enough for small tummy like me..
