Luckily we came across this museum by chance. We were walking down the street when we saw the banner on the porch and decided to have a look. We had visited the Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum the previous day and enjoyed that so we thought we would enjoy this as well. Boy we were not disappointed !!
The ticket pricing is very reasonable at RM 15, and tours in English and Chinese are available. We didn't have to wait for an official tour time, basically a guide just took us through straight away. There were the two of us, and another couple and their 2 teenage daughters.
The jewelry collection is stunning, and is displayed in glass cabinets, and there are entire rooms of it, so many beautiful pieces !! The house itself is also magnificent, so the whole thing is well worth visiting.
Photos are allowed, and encouraged, which was a welcome surprise. However, our guide was rather shy, and not as informative as at the Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum.
