Lots of nice architecture, quirky shops and interesting food stalls. However, taking your life in your hands between the hordes of pedestrians and the road traffic kind of spoiled it for me.

The food in all the places down this street is amazing! We tried the authentic Melakan nonya dishes which are full of flavour from the east and goes well with a Tiger beer!

Jonker Street it's look totally different in day and nights!

Day time - you enjoy the creative design of products and also the shop designs. But there are many similar products found in the shop with there own repackaging only.

Night time - enjoy the night market and also the local foods here. From nyonya, malay, chinese, Indian etc. the shopper also smartly moved out their products and selling out by the street as well.

Overall: enjoy the local shopping experience here! You do found good food here as well! Do try the durian puffs at rm8 for 6 pcs.

Crowded but great walk through the crowd stopping to pick up some snack and souvenirs. Stopped by the karaoke stage and watched the singing. A great nite out, indeed.

I´m a total sucker for night markets and buying knick knacks and souvenirs. If you´re like me than this is totally heavenly! Food abound everywhere and Malacca is known for their chendol and chicken rice balls. What I like is the unique ´terompah´or clogs made of wood and is handpainted which makes a lovely souvenir!
