Unfortunately it is open only on Fri, Sat and Sun evenings. We managed to catch it on Sun evenings and there are so many things to shop and eat, though we walked till our legs "died".

There are so many things that were pretty cheap to buy from there, and you can bargain for lower price!

This is the most interesting street in historic Melaka. History aside, it is now a tourist attraction, filled with local street food and antique shops. Most of the popular Melaka cuisine/ delicacies can be found along this street. Note that Jonker Street during the day is very different from the same street after daylight. In the evening, the shops are mostly closed for the day and the entire street becomes lined with street hawkers catering to the dining crowd. A must visit for all visitors.

It's full with food, gift & fun. You can enjoy so much along the jonker street for day & light. You can feel differently for daytime and night time

The main souvenirs shopping site in Melaka. But lacks variety. Majority of the shops are selling your standard array of magnets, keychains & other knick knacks. Managed to find some treasures hidden behind all this hustle & bustle. Got myself a pair of custom made signature peranakan beadwork slippers from a family run shop. Hubby got himself a handcarved stone seal customized to his initials.

Something needs to be done to ensure that such businesses do not die off. This is the try identity of the Peranakan heritage of Melaka.

Offer plenty of food cafe and souvenir shop
The street atmosphere will be over crowded during weekend
One of 'Must Visit' attractions in Melaka
