love their brown sugar paste or aka gula Melaka in the chendol. love the fat and soft jelly. However, due to the hot weather, the ice melted really fast. and the bowl is really small for a $5 chendol.

We were wanting to try the Melaka Cendol but apparently this one was really not even up to marks to the cendol we had in JB.

Loved the cendol here even though it is more expensive than Jonker88. It had just the right ratio of gula Melaka and santan. Perfect!!!

This shop is located at Jonker street. Read the name of the tavern already made us eager to taste the cendol Aunt. Apparently it really is delicious. Coconut milk, pandan leaves and coconut sugar are felt. If you are a fan of durian, durian fruit can also be added in it. Price per bowl of cendol 5 ringgit for ringgit if regular and 6 plus durian. The shop also sells a variety of snacks and souvenirs typical of Melaka.

If you braved the long walk through the mass of humanity in Jonker Walk, from the start where the new Hard Rock Cafe Melaka is, to where the Chinese street gate is. Go look for Bibik House Chendol.
This unassuming stall sells the best chendol. Chendol is a local desert of red beans, green jelly noodles, lots of shaved ice, and topped with lots of fresh rich coconut milk.
What makes Bibik House Chendol's excellent, in my humble opinion, is that they added in a very generous portion of rich gula melaka (palm sugar syrup). For a Malaysian dollar more, they will add in a spoonful of durian puree.
Both the original flavor Chendol and the one with durian are excellent desert!
A must try if you are ever in Jonker Walk of Melaka!
