“Fantastic all round”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

Fantastic Location, beautifully renovated, modern, elegant, clean.
Extremely helpful staff!

I came to Melaka with my partner and we stayed at the Gingerflower Boutique Hotel for 3 nights.
It's a brand new hotel, the design is simple, elegant and modern. Great shower and bathroom. Being in a beautiful old house the rooms are fairly small but well arranged so it doesn't feel cramped.
The location is perfect, just on the edge of the old town, just far enough away (meaning 2 minutes walk) from the busy main drag to have a quiet night.
The staff is extremely helpful and always smiling - it was my birthday so they baked a delicious cake which was a fantastic surprise!

I will definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for one night to visit Malacca on our tour of Southern Malaysia. It was lovely, the service was extremely efficient and good. Breakfast was a bit bare, but the lady in the office probably overheard me saying to my husband that the staff breakfast, some local snacks, looked nice and we should try to source some, and 10 minutes later a tray with a sample of the snacks wre brought up to our room on a tray with some orange juice. What a treat! It was delicious and so welcome. The room itself was small, but well designed and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Will finitely stay here again if we pass through.
