Just stayed here for one night, the place is right opposite a new construction site - relatively quiet though. Parking is abundance if it's not peak season. Room is well-equipped with the basic necessities (i do wish the pillows are a bit more stuffed). Design overall is really simple, clean and modern. (the room has ants though, if you buy food - just be sure to keep it well-sealed)

Comes with complimentary breakfast: it's a simple spread of nasi lemak, fried rice vermicelli, rice congee, roti canai, cereals (cornflakes & coco crunch) along with coffee and tea.

Overall, decent stay for the price. Recommended for a short stay, though if you feel claustrophobic - may want to consider room with window.

I stayed at this hotel for one night. My first impression was that it looked new, and was subsequently confirmed to me by one of the staff. As a result, it was not so well known to taxi drivers. Check-in was smooth, although they were a bit understaffed (I think). The room is smallish but adequate, and has all the prerequisites of any decent hotel. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. I requested a room away from the lift. From past experiences, the constant chatter, and opening and closing of lift doors can be disturbing, especially in a hotel with one lift. Breakfast is included in the price. It was a simple fare but sufficient to sustain us until lunch. Looking at the map, the hotel appears to be quite a distance from the heart of the action, Jonker Street. But in reality, it is a pleasant 5 – 10 minutes walk. To get to Jonker street, turn right as you come out of the hotel. Walk straight ahead, and you’ll come to a busy intersection. Cross this street and keep walking straight ahead. About a pleasant 3 minutes walk, look to the right and you’ll see the infamous Malacca river. Turn towards this river and follow it along (also very enjoyable) and cross any bridge that you come across and you’ll end up pretty close to Jonker street. Look for the decorative archway (or ask the locals). The most appealing aspect of this hotel is that it is sufficiently close to the heart of Malacca and at the same time, it is far enough to offer a quiet stay. A tip: If you want a taxi, don’t bother asking from the reception because it takes too long. Walk out to the main street, and there is a row of taxis waiting. There are no meters, so it is haggling all the way.

Room Tip: Request for a room away from the lift. There is only one lift and it works overtime.

We was there last weekend. The room was very cozy and clean. Price of the room was reasonable and its came together with breakfast. There are free mini bar and Wifi too. Good facility provided by 3 stars stay. The female receptionist was very accommodative when requested for room tour.

Room Tip: Go for Deluxe room with window

It was a last minute booking, as the weekend is approaching it is extremely difficult to find a room to stay in Melaka, thank God Mio still have vacancies.

It was abit hard to find at first, but after spoken to the friendly reception, it was actually quite easy to locate. I took the room without window, room was abit small, but it was all good. The design was modern, everything was new and clean.

Love the bed, TV channel options are ok, love the shower.
Maybe because my room was located near the lift, I could hear people talking and walking pass. Therefore if you are a light sleeper you might want to request for a room further from the lift.

A mini buffet breakfast is served every morning, though it was mini but they had everything, they had toast, local food, porridge, cereal & etc, so it was OK. But being in Melaka where good food is everywhere, you can always skip the hotel breakfast and explore the hawker stalls.

Overall, it was a good 2 nights stay. Will be back.

We stayed there during a long weekend. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed with the room and facilties as they do not look exactly like the pictures displayed on the website. It's kind of deceiving the consumers. I chose a double deluxe with window but it was not worth to top up about myr20 for a single window at the corner. Another main concern is the security system. I saw anyone could just walk in and go up to the rooms. Breakfast was not that great either.

Having said that, there are some good things about this hotel. I love their initiative and service and FOC baby cot. The hotel location is ok but due to most of one way streets there it was hard to drive around although the destination was not that far.

Im very disappointed in your family deluxe room.the size of the room is so small to accommodate 3 person.
As for the toilet...the pressure of the water is not strong..esp the rain shower..
Room lighthing is awesome.

We get there almost midnight, the staff was very accommodating and checking-in took just 10 minutes. It was CNY Eve but everything was smooth and no queue yet. The location is good since it's like 5-10 minutes drive away from the most visited area as 'World Heritage City'. The food in the breakfast is good and there's a variety from a child to adult eating breakfast.

However, even we put the make up room sign at the door, they didn't change linens and towels and no toiletries replenishment for the next day. Overall, since the hotel is relatively new, it was good and cozy.
