Heard of The Majestic Hotel in Malacca for a while and finally got to stay for a weekend.
The hotel has a beautiful facade, of the perankan housing and a long history which adds to the charm of it.
The rooms are mainly in a new wing behind so the furnishings are modern and spacious.
The pool is small, more of a lap pool but no one goes to Malacca for a swim!
It is located near the famous Jonker Street, about 10min walk which is great, because you are near enough but still away from the bustle.
TIP: Make sure you make a booking for the historical walk which is available for all guests. It is an amazing 2 hour walk that takes you through the times of history and culture and gives you a great insight into the quaint town.
