Very nice hotel and excellent location. Right beside Mahkota shopping centre and directly opposite to Pahlawan. For the lazy travelers who don't like to walk much, this is a great location. 15mins walk to Jonker street.Near to Taman Melaka Raya where you find some nice places for Peranakan Food. I stayed in a Studio suite. Spacious and comfortable beds. It was a nice concept to have 2 TVs in room and to separate the space for sleeping while the couch potatoes can continue to watch TV. Small pool but nice location on the 12th Floor and it closes at 8pm. After closing the pool offers a nice quiet place to relax and surf the net Until they come around to close the place up which is sad. The only one thing that stop me from giving an excellent rating, No WI-FI in the rooms. Only at the lobby and pool area. Overall, I will still go back there again .

It was my first stay at the hotel, my what a good first impression! The sea view room was awesome. Spacious room for the price we paid & plus they have 2 LCD TVs which pretty rare. Love the breakfast buffet. Very helpful and considerate staff as well.

Room Tip: choose corner rooms as it's spacious and request for a sea view room, it's worth it

This hotel is quite new and I'm giving a try to stay in this hotel. Interior of this hotel is superb and luxury feel. Even my daughter aged 1 years old also looks so happy when she entering the hotel room for the first day. Price also reasonable and will come back to this hotel for next trip in future.

We were very impressed with the room. Refreshing concept. It has two televisions in the room. The view from our room was beautiful. The swimming pool was cool too; it has wadding area at the adult pool where kids can still play around while the adult swim and it also has a separate kids pool. The hotel has a link bridge to two shopping mall. Breakfast good. We went to the coral wonderland and also walked to the Taming Sari Tower. We definitely would come back to this hotel in the future.

This is our 1st time staying at Hatten since it is a newly opened hotel and below are my reviews of the hotel:

1) Checking In
Arrived at the hotel at 1pm. Rooms were not ready. Went for our lunch and returned at about 4pm and rooms were still not ready. We had to speak to the front desk manager before they were able to give us our rooms. We had also requested for double rooms but were given twin rooms.

2) Bad Service
Front desk staff were not very well trained and some not friendly at all.

3) Housekeeping Slow
My room had no toilet paper and had to call the housekeeping 3 times before they delivered it to us. My friend's room air con was not working & bathroom was choked too. Also had to call housekeeping few times before they came to fix the problem.

4) Good Location
Location is good as it is near Makota Parade & Palawan Shopping Cantre. Walking distance to Jonker Street too.

5) Large Variety Breakfast
Breakfast is not bad as there were alot of variety. However, as the hotel has a huge occupancy, please go early to avoid the long queues.

6) Rooms
Rooms are big & clean

Room Tip: Ask for rooms on higher floor as the lifts are always packed
