Over rated i think. 1 ball of rice size of ping pong ball cost 30 cents. Average person consumes about 5 balls. The chicken costs extra. Total cost for 3 pax about RM23 include chinese tea, ice lemon tea and mineral water. But overall it was worth it cos it was the only Halal chicken rice ball stall we could find in Melaka.

Obviously this eatery received a lot of media coverage. But im puzzled that the place was not packed with people. The chicken rice comes in balls, not the typical plate of rice we usually see.

The balls of chicken rice were small. For a medium size man, he'll probably need at least 10 to be full. We ordered the mix chicken (roasted & steamed) and some side dishes. The roasted chicken are pretty good but i wont give it a must-try. There are better options at Melaka.

Fundamentals of a good chicken rice meal. Solid Chilli and Nice Rice.
The boss is a perfect salesman. He said his Asam Pedas is better than the Parit Jawa one. I didn't bother to try.
Their chilli was very dilute and watery. Rice not as fragrant.
There were 9 of us. we ate 80 chicken rice balls + 1 chicken + 1 veg. Total $84RM.
compared to the old corner store of Jonker walk, this one is no where near.
The rice balls are not as compacted as the Jonker walk, so that's why we ate 80 balls.
Very expensive. Will not return for more. We spent only half that amount at the corner shop the next day.

The service sucks. We ordered 4 set chicken rice ball and they didnt allow us to get some extra plates as we wanted to share we other friends. One of the waiter spilled the sauce on my friend's leg and didnt even apologise. Waiter talked in an arrogant style. No manner. The taste is so lousy. Not nice at all. Price is so expensive. Postions are just so little. People please dont come here.

We stumbled across this little restaurant by chance, and we gave it a try! Definitely glad we did, it was so good! The friendly owner was very courteous and helpful, and the food was amazing! I'd really recommend sambal sotong ! The squid was delish!!
