This restaurant has grown into a landmark of its own in the Kota Laksamana area in Malacca.

With a striking posture in plain white at one of the intersections, it cannot be missed & it looks even grander with all the lightings at night.

They have a moderate spread of Chinese dishes in their menu which they cook very well including the steamed cod fish, stewed pork belly with mantou and other seafood & vegetable dishes.

No complaints with their service & pricing is also surprisingly reasonable. Corkage charges for those with BYO drinks are also reasonably low.

No hesitation to recommend dining in this restaurant.

My Brother in law recommended the restaurant and we drove past it a few times. Looks really nice on the outside and for fear of Long queue, we called and made a reservation on a Saturday night.

To our surprise, the restaurant is huge and has several levels. They are Super efficient and seated us on the 2nd floor. 5 of us out of our company of 13 people arrived, while the other 8 were caught in standstill traffic jam for 1 hour just because they made a wrong turn.

The restaurant staff was quite cool about it. We pre ordered their suckling pig as we were afraid that would ran out before the others arrived. When it became clear that the wait would be Long, we ordered the food and asked them to only serve when the others arrived. The restaurant was really nice and did not chase us, unlike some other diva restaurants that need to keep customers flowing. They served us 1 noodle dish first to keep the 5 of us from starving, and my boys said that was the best dish of the night... hahaha.

Well when the rest arrived, the restaurant promptly served the rest of the food that we ordered and everyone agreed that the taste, presentation and quality was Super!

Worth mentioning is their crispy sucking pig! Crispy and not oily. And loved their crispy spinach with pumpkin mash. The crisp of vegetable is nicely blended with the smooth pumpkin mash. The Vietnam river prawn was not that great. Big headed type so it’s good for those who love chewing on prawn heads. But all the other dishes were great. Their Hor fun ran out and we ordered mee suah instead. That was rated best by the starving boys, great food with lots of wok hey!

Really enjoyed our lunch here. Some interesting dishes like oyster mushrooms fried in peanut butter batter and vegetables with crispy duck sausage. Recommend.

Roasted pig is OK. Ordered sweet and sour chicken. Fried egg with prawn. Steam sotong. Other dishes was below average on taste and presentation. Will try out other place when back to Malacca.
