I have heard a few of my peers giving remarks that this restaurant is an example of Chinese Fine Dining so I need to provide my insights as well. To put things into my perspective I would say this food joint does provide a tasty and historical experience as the restaurant has been renovated from a typical looking Chinese design to a much larger building with a mixture of Chinese and Dutch architecture hence it brings back the feeling of dining during the colonial days.
This restaurant is not catered for fine dining but they do offer a wide range of food selections in their menu ranging from affordable to "high class" pricing . It depends if you're ordering merely mushrooms and scallops or with abalone. If you are going for expensive ingredients then you should be able to pay the price.
My personal favorite dish would be the Yin Yang Fish
