Located near Mahkota mall and beside the food court along Jalan PM3 Plaza Mahkota Banda Hilir.
Jam lunch crowd.
Friendly waiter & waitress
Must try the cendol and terong goreng lada and others on the menu.
Patience here as good food is served to all hungry diners during the same hour!
Definitely be back again

Pleasant atmosphere, good traditional nyonya food with reasonable price i ever try in Melaka. Especially sambal udang petai, kangkong belacan, taufo special, and sotong kunyit, are really good.
Thumbs up!! :)

Looks like there has been a change of owner or chef at this reataurant. Food quality and standard has dropped so much that you could hardly recognise any nyonya flavour. The chinchalok omelette was so salty as if the whole packet of salt was added. A replacement came but it was plain omelette without the chinchalok. The sambal kangkong tasted burnt. Ordered fried fish with chilli but what came was assam gravy fish. The rest of the orders were just as bad.
Will not step into the place again.

Malacca is home to so many excellent Nyonya eateries..that to stand out among them is a challenge. We were refer to this place for its great cuisine...however, we had a reasonable meal, nothing more. Not disappointed but not elated either...so is it worth an encore ? Well maybe.
The service was reasonable brisk and there is a small section selling local produces and spices, etc.
The notable dish was the Chicken curry...the rest were just passable. The chendol was satisfactory at best.
If in Malacca and not sure which Peranakan restaurant to choose, Restoran Suan should not disappoint. But don't expect the sky.
