“An Hotel providing unconditional service delivery, fantastic!”

Arrived on the 25/11 following long haul overnighter, wrecked. Had requested early check in with Jeffrey and Taitnfong, appreciating that it was probably unlikely at 10am. Arriving early my wife and I were greeted with complimentary freshly squeezed fruit juice and confirmation of an early check in, Result!!
The beautiful teak floor in the bedroom was still drying from the efficient cleaning process from the previous guests check out. The staff were charming and extremely helpful in directing us to the more eclectic eateries that Melaka has to offer once we had surfaced, having caught up on sleep.
( I never want to eat western, I can do that at home). Nothing was too much trouble, in fact the staff were genuinely concerned that we would be disturbed by the Annual Chinese Malayan Celebrations that were taking place that night on Jonkers Stage immediately outside our window, they could not have been further from the truth, we felt like Michael Palin "stumbling" across this special event.
One regret, ought have stayed longer. Would recommend this Boutique Hotel to everyone who appreciates good service.
To date the best Wi Fi in Malaysia.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front are ideal for immersing yourself into Chinese, Malayan culture. Just open the sh...

I have stayed at Jonker Boutique Hotel, Malacca many times since Dec 2010 and each time the establishment never fails to impress me with their very warm, personable, friendly, bubbly and courteous staff. They are always extremely helpful, professional and thoughtful towards the needs of their guests.

The rooms are clean and efficiently serviced; basic amenities well stocked and replenished. My heartfelt thanks to Jesmine, Amy, Khay, Jeffery, Louis and Mr Tai for making this possible.

The Café within the hotel premises works very hard to provide yummy authentic local dishes and International meals at affordable prices. I love simple breakfasts and glad that I am not subjected to heavy buffets in the morning. What’s the use of stuffing oneself in the morning - in Malacca, a town that offers so many varieties of delectable food?

Love the art deco feel of the hotel, and its location. If you are an architecture buff like myself, you will fall in love with this place right away. Highly recommended accommodation within the heart of an old, romantic town!

Room Tip: All rooms are unique - retrofitted to suit the art deco architecture of the building. All rooms are...

Wifi accessible. Suitable for family, couples and friends to go.
The staff there is very friendly, efficient and helpful.
I will definitely go back to the hotel again.^o^

As a "boutique" hotel we were not quite sure what to expect, but turned out to be a lovely small place with exceptionally friendly and helpful hotel staff. Very clean and interesting large rooms. Be forewarned, the night market - and sound stage - are right out front, so a room at the back is recommended if the noise will bother you (they quiet down about 10:30 though, and you have a great view at front). Amy gave us great resturant recommendations and helped arrange a small bus for us to get to Singapore - much appreciated and a great driver. While there is a resturant attached for breakfast, might be better to venture elsewhere. Fabulous access to self-guided walking tour of old town.

Room Tip: Quiet room at the back or enjoy the night market at the front.

Nice little hotel with the basic things you would need and a nice decor.
The only negative about the stay was that some people next door had been smoking in their rooms which we could really smell in ours. To be fair to the staff there are loads of signs around saying no smoking but it was a shame the smell made it to a different room.
Would definitely stay here again though, it's in a very convenient location for all the sights and restaurants of Melaka

Room Tip: Definitely go on the boat trip from the Portuguese boat, certainly worth an hour of your time.

Room is ok. Location might be good as its in the center of town but this could prove to be a problem, what spoilt my day was the difficult walk through the night market. We arrive late in Melaka, and we took a taxi to the hotel from the bus station, the traffic is terrible in melaka during the weekend and the taxi driver told us he could not stop us at the hotel due to the night market and the street was close where the hotel is located. He drop us at the entrance which is just across the river and ask us to walk straight, it will be a short walk, but this turn out to be a very difficult walk, dragging two big bags, walking through a crowded street, its was so tiring and frustrating. We should have took an earlier bus down to melaka avoiding the night market! Another thing is the stairs of the hotel is so narrow, and we were on the 2 floor, not an easy walk up too! My advice is avoid arriving into the hotel late evening during weekend!

Room Tip: request 1st floor rooms and avoid late checkin during the weekend
