“No apple pie!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2012

A very busy restaurant on Jonker Street. We were eager to try the apple pie after reading a recommendation in Lonely Planet - only to be told that they had run out at 1 pm! My husband asked for the Lime - Plum drink - that too had run out. Oh well settled for coconut juice - in the shell and some icecream to cool down. Service was fairly prompt, lots of interesting dishes coming out, and the cleanliness didn't seem an issue.

“Good location”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2012

The location of this cafe is excellent but the food and drinks are overpriced. It is worth sitting here for a drink on a Friday or Saturday night just to people watch but there are many better places to eat.

“The most prominent hangout at Jonker area”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2012

Good ol bar set in the old street. It is either here or along the river. The alley was closed due to Oktoberfest. So i believed that this place has always been earmarked for this festival.
Will return and be there earlier. Closed abt 0030hr on Friday.

“Something for everyone”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2012

A lot of choices for the whole family. Our three kids can be fussy eaters, but we found something delicious for each of them... plus the adults had very nice meals with local flavour.

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of buzzing Melaka... and the building is nice too.

“great little pub”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2012

Right on the corner where you can sit and have quiet drink whilst the better half wanders the shops and then meet up for a quick bite. The street at the side closes at night and they set up eating areas so no probems finding something to eat.
