Staying here 2 nights on at tour around s goa.its a really good place...with standards much higher than the Indian norm.
The rooms are wooden bungalows around a lovely pool area.the bungalows are well furnished with a super king size bed.there is a good shower room too.
The only criticism is that it hasn't got a fridge...and could do with a couple of chairs on the balcony.
Breakfast is quite Indian..but you can get eggs tea and toast.
At 75 pounds a night its expensive by Indian standards...but is peaceful and quiet.

Hotel is quite disappointing. There are many flaws at this hotel. Other reviews might be misleading, so travel here at your own risk.

Hotel staff seems to be quite incompetent, the reception area is mostly empty and the staff in general is quite disorganised.

Breakfast was quite terrible where you had to literally find something decent to eat. Many other customers were complaining about the breakfast.

Rooms are very small and have a cramped feel to them. There is hardly any space to move around in the room.

Facilities at the resort seem to be on the decline. Swimming pool is the only facility which also does not seem to be maintained well.

They promise complimentary transfers to Palolem beach which is the closest beach to the resort. But when you ask for the complimentary transfer from the hotel to the beach, you need to wait a long time and for the ride back from the beach to the hotel, the staff asks you to take a rickshaw instead which they would pay for.

Overall a disappointing stay.

Room Tip: The basic rooms are very cramped and small.

Palolam is one of Goa's best beaches and this property was a cherry on the cake. Cutesy and cosy, set away from the crowded area, an ideal place if you are looking for a romantic getaway. The rooms are like cottages and you feel like you are in a wooden hut, with all amenities like hot shower, cozy and soft bed etc. The restraunt though looked small with very few options, we loved the food here as it tasted so good. The pool is small, but decent size and there is not much to complain about the property. They could probably renovate their reception area as it doesnt give a great impression, however it did not bother us. We were also given a free pick and drop to the beach, multiple times a day and it was ideal for us. Loved our stay here, would love to come back and stay for a longer time.

Nestled far away in South Goa is this cosy place perfect for individuals looking for solitude. Close to the famous Palolem beach, but would necessarily need an own vehicle even though they have a pickup and drop but only till about 7pm, so night walks at the beach get restricted. Menu is limited but whatever on it is very good. Individual cottages with good landscaping give it a perfect ambience. Only disadvantage is the size of the room being too small can get claustrophobic. The staff is polite and helpful. The pool is neat and clean but is the only place of activity, so can get boring if children accompanying you.
Also location is a disadvantage if one wants to travel around and especially indulge in water sports which are far.

Pluses : Well kept setup, co-operative & helpful staff, clean swimming pool, complimentary pick up & drop to beach..
Minuses : Excellent wooden cottages but sans ventilation. Hope my suggestion of installation of mosquito screens on windows is implemented promptly.
Menu very limited.
Except swimming no activity in the hotel. A few indoor sports would do.
Tip : To satiate your taste buds explore Palolem beach. Dropadi, Silver Star & Spicy Bella to name a few.

I have just returned from a four night experience at The Fern Gardenia and had a brilliant time.

The accommodation is excellent, with bungalows discreetly nestled in the beautiful gardens, around a fabulous swimming pool. The staff cannot do enough for you and a car/driver is on hand to take you to the beach and restaurants whenever you wish to go.

Nothing is too much trouble for them and they go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Room Tip: All the bungalows appear to be located around the swimming pool and are very private.
